The movie follows Alex Browning (played by Devon Sawa), a high school student who has a premonition of his own death on a flight. He and his friends witness a horrific accident that claims the lives of everyone on board. However, when Alex and his friends survive the flight, they think they've cheated fate. But Death, personified as a relentless and unstoppable force, begins to claim their lives one by one, in a series of gruesome and creative accidents.
