Fe File Explorer Pro Ipa
This paper examines FE File Explorer Pro, a high-privilege iOS file manager capable of SMB, AFP, NFS, and WebDAV connections, when distributed as an IPA file outside the official App Store. It analyzes the disparity between the sandboxed App Store version and the entitlements possible in a sideloaded (or jailbroken) IPA. The research evaluates the practical risks of downloading pre-signed or cracked IPAs from third-party repositories, including malware injection, entitlement stripping, and credential theft. We conclude with recommendations for enterprise distribution versus consumer sideloading.
