WARNING:
you must uninstall older versions (see Q-2
in the FAQ to know how) before installing the new ones, otherwise WinPcap will
not work properly.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
sometimes, when uninstalling WinPcap version 2.02 or older from the
control panel's network applet in Windows 9x, the file Windows\Packet.dll
is not deleted. You must delete this file manually, otherwise newer
versions will not work properly and could cause system crashes.
The Codex v1.5 language pack is by nature, meaning it won't conflict with mods from Nexus or your Redmod launcher. However, a word of caution: Do not mix audio packs from v1.3 or v1.6 into this v1.5 install. You will get silent NPCs, broken radio streams, or crashes during the Heist mission.
This specific pack was tailored for the "Patch 1.5" update, which introduced major AI improvements and redesigned perks, ensuring that all updated NPC reactions and UI text are correctly localized.
