Watching a master builder like Lyra construct her identity inspires us to pick up our own twigs.

The trouble began on the night of the Autumn Tide, when the moon turned the color of a bruise. A stranger came to Thornwood Reach. He called himself Marius Finch, a naturalist from the capital, come to study the “unusual avian behaviors” reported in the region.
