This paper examines how Bangladeshi celebrities use visual media to define aspirational living and entertainment, and analyzes the socio-cultural impact of these portrayals on their audience, particularly the urban middle class. The findings suggest that while celebrity imagery promotes consumerism and modern values, it also creates a paradox of aspiration versus reality.
