Before you use a resetter, you must address the physical reality of the hardware:
If you are uncomfortable with test mode or registry edits, a local repair shop will charge ~$20–$40 for the reset. That is cheaper than a new A3+ inkjet. But if you follow these steps carefully, you can do it for free (minus the cost of new pads).
By resetting the counter, you told the printer that the waste ink pads are empty. They are still full of ink.
The Adjustment Program resets this counter back to zero, telling the printer that the waste ink pads are "new" again, allowing you to continue printing.
This example provides a very basic UI and does not perform an actual reset. Real implementation would require detailed knowledge of Epson's printer communication protocol and is best achieved with professional development.
