The story revolves around Vijay (played by Kamal Haasan), a young and fearless taxi driver who gets involved in a series of misadventures. After saving a beautiful woman, Dhanalakshmi (played by Sridevi), from a group of thugs, Vijay finds himself entangled in a web of crime and corruption.
