The Navigon 310 was a portable navigation device popular in Canada and Europe. Map updates are essential for accurate routing. However, this device has been discontinued by its parent company (Garmin, which acquired Navigon). Therefore, official map updates are no longer available.

Distributing or using patched map software is . Map data is owned by companies like TomTom (Tele Atlas) or HERE (formerly Navteq) . They invest millions in road surveying. Using pirated maps harms the industry and offers no post-download support.

Official support and map updates for (and all Navigon products) were permanently discontinued on December 1, 2020 , after the brand was acquired and eventually retired by Garmin.
