Only if you have the "Audio popping" or "Bluetooth cutout" issues. 5230 was stable; 5238 is a minor patch. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

For hardcore VCDS (Vag-Com) users, 5238 locks down some adaptation channels. You cannot enable the "Developer Mode" (Green Menu) as easily as you could on firmware 412x. You must use a specific VCDS hack to unblock it. rns 510 firmware 5238
